Objective: Create a narrative to promote a feature that Spotify has.In this group project, we explored the concept of how Spotify changes the listener’s world to accommodate to their lifestyle and create personalization.


I was inspired by fantasy/dreamy world that ambient music creates. My role was to create slapframes, illustrate, and color them in.&#38;nbsp;

	The narrative starts by dropping the audience in the setting of an underwater city in the point of view of a girl who is flying through, while listening to music. She swims around the underwater city, the jellyfish guiding her. It is later revealed, in the reflection of a puddle, that it’s only her imagination.

The logo consists of seven bars which symbolizes the seven stages in the festival. Using the soundboards used to produce electronic music as inpiration, the grid was created for the letters.

	Objective:&#38;nbsp;


choose a unique place in the Los Angeles area and create a promotional piece


Blind Barber is a barbershop in the day and a bar at night. Inspired by metaphor that we felt by the interior, “Los Angeles is a jungle”, we decided to make our own visual metaphors. Though a joint effort, my role was to shoot, direct, edit the music, and find cost effective ways to make this project.


The goal for this project was to describe Los Angeles, without actually literally seeing that it is Los Angeles. This promotional video showcases different metaphors through visuals that emphasize the energy of LA's day and night scene. In the daytime, Los Angeles streets are busy, so the use of paint and oil was used to show the fast paced life that locals are living. At night, Los Angeles looks beautiful due to its city lights, so the feeling of was captured through the duotone-like lights through different objects. The mood of this project was used to create soothing imagery that would reflect the experience at Blind Barber.


The audio came as an accident at first. When testing the slideshow, the audio files all played at once, which created ambient noises that reflected what was heard in the Blind Barber. We took this and added these sounds to the music that we were using.

 Riot is a gaming company that is known for the game League of Legends (League). This is Riot’s only video game. Because League is closely tied with the identity of Riot, the goal for this project was to create an identity that would allow Riot to extend its voice not only through League.

Riot has created its success by letting their audience have input, so it was appropriate to make the voice of the brand reflect the League community, bold and playful, yet sophisticated.

	
“BE THE CARRY”
	
The slogan “Be the carry” was also inspired by the community. The term carry, originated from League, means to put the team on their back and “carry” them to victory. In gaming culture it is very honorable because it shows how much one knows about the game. “Be the carry” applies to both players and Riot employees to take charge and become the leader in their group, whether it’s developing the game or in the actual game.

	The logo mark reflects Mexico’s people, the people of the sun. Sun gives the
logo warmth, family, and the sense of
earth. Because AeroMexico is a global
airline, the 8 triangles symbolize direction like a compass. Compass also represents safety. “You know where you
are at all times.” The logo is advertently
shaped as an Aztec calendar to symbolize punctuality. The circular movement and the thick outline of the circle
in the mark gives the sense of Mexico’s
strong community.

	Objective: Create storyboards for the film, Nightcrawler.

This concept explores the idea of embodiment within journalism and the process of manipulation. Using misdirection, this title sequence shows the surroundings of Lou’s workspace, and hints at Lou’s process when creating the perfect composition.
